Tate joined Blackhawk in 2001, and most recently served as senior vice president, products and marketing. During this time, he helped lead Blackhawk's core gift, open loop gift, telecom, GPR, digital, and emerging payments divisions, as well as all business development and marketing functions. Among other key accomplishments, he led the team responsible for more than 700 content partner relationships and spearheaded the launch of Blackhawk-owned content.
